Mere expression of desire is not enough - Простого выражения желания недостаточно

When praying to God, you should have a feeling of total surrender.

If you are really keen about realizing God, if you are hungering and thirsting for God, then you should cultivate this all absorbing love. Mere expression of desire is not enough. You should endeavor to experience union with the Divine. If your heart is full of selfishness, how can you experience the Divine merely by a wish?

Когда ты молишься Богу, ты должен испытывать чувство полного предания Ему..

Если ты действительно заинтересован в том, чтобы осознать Бога, если ты изголодался и жаждешь Бога, тогда ты должен развивать эту всё поглощающую любовь. Простого выражения желания недостаточно. Ты должен прилагать усилия, чтобы испытать союз с Божественным. Если сердце полно эгоизма, разве можно испытать Божественное лишь по желанию?

Sai Divine Inspirations

Strive to know God. This alone is Sadhana.

If you keep chatting all through the day without doing any work,
Do you think this is Sadhana?
If you fill your belly thrice a day,
Do you think this is Sadhana?
If you spend the day in inactivity and the night in deep sleep,
Do you think this is Sadhana?
Is this for which God has created you?
You while away all your time in this kind of routine,
But this is not Sadhana.
Do not waste your time in this manner.
From this very moment, strive to know God.
This alone is Sadhana.

I belong to you and you belong to Me.
